Yet Another Injustice

On May 7th 2003 yet another jury took and convicted a man for a 2nd time for a crime he did not commit. This time we showed that someone else could have done this, and showed yet again that these so called "encounters" were lies. You may not believe what you read on the website and you may believe that Casteel is guilty. That's fine if you want to believe that, but I know that he is NOT Guilty.

But there is one big difference in this trial and the first one; it took right at 8 hours for the jury to come back, so there was doubt in at least one jurors mind. I have seen on the news that it is finally over, well it is NOT over, and it will be appealed. This website will still remain up and I will still be around working to try and free an innocent man.

             Notes On 2nd Trial

Lee Davis: You could call him the Dollar General because he took this case on for another dollar.

Michael Killingsworth & DeAnn Kennedy they told about a so called encounter with Casteel. But when Michael was on the stand he said Casteel did not point the gun at him. Then DeAnn got on the stand and said Casteel pointed the gun at Michael. (Background Info Mrs. Kennedy she was found guilty of armed robbery, grand larceny back in May of 1985)

Tom Clark talked about a run in with someone out there but could not i.d. Casteel as the man he had a run in with. He had also added that he saw a blue tarp that day he was there on the property. But he said nothing in the first trial about a blue tarp. (Background info: Mr. Clark was found guilty of selling and or delivering cocaine)

Mark Sivley tells a lie about Casteel stating he would have no trouble as long as he had a gun. You don’t have to look far to see what kind of a person Mr. Sivley is, just look at his background info: He was found guilty of Grand Larceny, Burglary/ Larceny, 2nd Degree Burglary/ Larceny, forgery, felonious receiving and or concealing stolen property, and habitual criminal.

Jonathan Ewton This trial and the last one he talks about this great chase Casteel lead him on and how he was scared but when he first talked to police he never said anything about this great chase. Then there is Michael Dantzler , he was with Jonathan that day, and even though he said in his statement that Casteel followed him all the way out that day which would prove this great chase to be a lie, Michael Dantzler states on the stand that Casteel passed him on the dirt road.

Janice Hall She talked about hearing tire sounds throughout the night. Then she said the next morning she saw Casteel's jeep go by. The prosecution was trying to make it seem like that the noise she was hearing throughout the night was Casteel. But when the defense asked when she saw Casteel's jeep that morning, did she hear the tire sounds and Janice Hall said "No."

John (Lie)ns He testified about seeing a woman at a car wash. He said last time that he saw Casteel's jeep at the command post on the following Monday. But this time he said it was Tuesday. You may ask why he changed the day, because Larry Sneed the detective proved him to be a liar, because the jeep was never at the command post. And about two weeks before the last trial he could not identify the jeep, but at trial he did.

Donna Anderson: She stated that she and Jerry Anderson was out in the woods looking for his son on that night and stated in court that she recognized the jeep scrambler as the one they saw that night. But in 1989 when she was interviewed she identified the vehicle they saw that night as a canvas top CJ-5, 6 or 7. The CJ 5, 6 or 7 is completely different than a jeep scrambler and Casteel's jeep never had a canvas top.

Judith Ann Lowery: The so called encounter she described in court was different from what she told the detectives early on. First off she gave a different date of when they were up there, plus she could not ID the shotgun that she was so scared of on that day. She also said in court that Casteel used profanity on the day she was supposedly up there with her friends, but in her statement she said she could not remember any profanity. She also changed what Casteel supposedly said to them that day.
